If you're like me, you cannot be pegged into one style.
There are so many fantastically fabulous things out there
and I want it all. If it looks good, I'll wear it. And
with that mind set, we often accumulate so many different
articles of clothing that we sometimes run out of ideas
on how to wear it all. I say feel free to mix and match!
Here are just three ideas you can use.
Maxi Dress + Leather Jacket= Boho Rocker Chic
Pink Empire Waist Dress from Old Navy, $39.99
Lace-up Leatherette Moto Jacket from Bebe, $129.00
Glamorous Party Blouse + Jeans = Casually Glam
Black Sheer Kimono Blouse from Cache, $128.00
Citizens of Humanity Stretch Faye Shadow Jeans from Revolve Clothing, $167.00
Vintage Inspired Sweater + Modern Tube Dress = Retro Mod
Knot Front Tube Dress from Express, $59.50
Longline Pointelle Cardigan from Oasis, £45.00

I'm a gloss girl, I love my lip gloss. I do wear lipstick
on occaision, but I have two problems with a lot of lipsticks.
First off, most of the shade are a dull matte, which only
makes one a little matronly in appearance. Secondly, my lips
are dry and many a lipstick that I've tried will really dry
out my lips even more.
But Max Factor's newest lipstick actually works for me! Vivid
Impact Lipcolor comes in 20 pure pigment shades. The end result
really is high quality. Another thing I love about Vivid Impact
Lipcolor is the rich conditioner formula that really hydrates
my dry lips. I can definitely see why is was listed in Marie
Claire's 25 Best Products of the Year.
Now back to the shades of Vivid Impact Lipcolor. I used no.
28 Rose Rage, and I've got to say its a very flattering
color as the shade is as neutral as it is vivid. Here's a
link to get a closer look at all the shades. I would post a picture
of the colors, but the picture wouldn't do justice.
This is the best lipstick I've tried in a long time,
and I would highly recommend it.
Btw, Max Factor also created Vivid Impact Lip Liner that
coordinates with the lipstick.
Check out another makeup review below. And you can buy both
products feature in this post(as well as the one below) at
Wal-mart.

2000 Calorie Exteme Lash Plumper: Does It Really Deliver?
1 comments Posted by shopinchic at 6:04 PM
Max Factor's newest mascara really isn't a mascara, it is
a lash plumper. The new 2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper
lengthens and fattens your lashes with a patent fat-wrap
formula. Now fat isn't a good thing, but when it comes to
lashes, heaven knows I need help! I'm always game for
great mascaras(and now lash plumpers).
When I tried the new 2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper, I
used a minimal amount(as I always do), and I really didn't
see the results that I was looking for. I was wondering this
aloud one day and my sister suggested that maybe I wasn't
putting enough lash plumper. So I suggested that she try putting
on the makeup(she does fab makeup and even bleaches my hair, and
she's not even a hair colorist or cosmetic artist)on my lashes,
and when she did we both noticed that my lashes are magniified
(albeit a bit clumpy). I almost always use minimal makeup so I
assumed that I wouldn't need a lot of this to make my lashes
bigger. But after about three coats(I usually use only 1 coat)
of 2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper, I noticed my lashes looked
as plump as they should. Who needs mascara now?
The moral of the story: I know they always say that less is more,
but sometimes more is better. Escpecially when it comes
to getting great lashes with 200 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper.
Love this!

What's your fashion deal breaker? Here's an article
from Shine about just that.
What are moi's deal breakers(style wise)? No
matter how stylish a pair of jeans look, if they
are really high-waisted, forget it. High wasted
jeans make your torso look shorter(and thus a
little more frumpy), and more often than not,
emphasize the belly.
Other deal breakers include sloppy looking pieces.
For instance, I will find a dress with the perfect
color or print, but if the cut isn't right, forget
it. I don't like clothes that are overly structured
or too loose.
What are your style deal breakers? Do share them!

Summer brings out humidity, and humidity can often
bring out the nuisance called frizz, particularly if
your hair is naturally wavy or curly. But frizz can
also be brought on by other things like bleaching or
harsh chemicals, over usage of heat appliances, and even
(contrary to first statement) a lack of moisture. You
can tame and treat your unruly frizz and here’s how.
1- Moisturize Your Hair. Regardless the cause of your
frizz, your hair still needs extra moisture, so make
sure you use moisturizing shampoos and conditioners at
least 5 times a week(roughly every two days).
Try Paul Mitchell Daily Moisture Shampoo and Treatment
conditioner-available at Trade Secret Salons.
2- Use Extra Conditioning If You Need To. Use a hair
mask or deep conditioning about once or twice a week to
fortify your hair. You can also use a daily leave-in
conditioner if your hair not so damaged.
Try Pantene Pro-V Detangling Light-Conditioning Spray-
available at drugstores.
3- Reduce The Heat. If you can, try to limit your hair
drying time, or stop using hair dryers all together.
Same goes for straightening and curling irons.

Here is an interesting article about Kmart stores selling
fashionable foorwear. The article is from Daily Candy.
So, you’ve been overhauling your wardrobe for the summer.
You’re set with everything from head to ankle, but your
budget flat lined before reaching your toes.
Luckily there’s the Joe Boxer Canvas collection from Kmart.
Like everything else in the store’s newly updated shoe department,
the line offers quality and styles at prices that won’t break
(or even dent) the bank.
Joe Boxer Canvas shoes (a.k.a. the perfect summer multitaskers)
come in an array of splashy colors and styles. And because they
start at just $12.99 a pop, you can keep a pair at home, a set at
work, even a few in the backseat of your car (for quick changes
on the go).
Check out the entire selection of surprisingly chic footwear at
Kmart! Plus, buy any pair from the Joe Boxer Canvas collection
before May 2 (in-store or online) and you’ll get 50 percent off
a second pair.
That’ll start the summer off on the right foot!
